Getting the Most from Your Message
We read every email that comes in, and the more detail you share, the more useful our reply can be. Shoespad is a small, independent site focused on shoe reviews, sizing help and footwear style, so most messages we receive are about fit problems, product comparisons or ideas for future guides. Here are a few pointers to help us help you.
If you have a fit or sizing question
Tell us the shoe you are wearing now, the size you bought, and what feels wrong: pinching at the toes, heel slip, pressure across the top of the foot or soreness after a long day. If you have measured your feet, include the length and width figures. Our guide on how to measure your feet at home explains a simple method using paper and a ruler. We can offer general suggestions, but we cannot diagnose pain or injury. If you have persistent foot discomfort, numbness or swelling, a podiatrist or doctor is the right person to see.
If you spot an error or have a suggestion
Shoe models change, brands adjust their lasts and sizing charts get updated. If something on the site looks out of date or inaccurate, let us know which page it is on and what you think needs correcting. We also welcome ideas for topics you would like covered, whether that is a particular type of footwear, a care question or a style dilemma.
What we can't help with
Shoespad does not sell shoes, process orders or handle returns. For questions about a purchase, delivery or refund, please contact the retailer or brand you bought from directly. We are also not affiliated with any manufacturer, so we cannot pass on complaints or warranty claims on your behalf.
While you wait for a reply, you might find an answer already on the site, such as our advice on whether new shoes need breaking in.
